The debugthemyths.com RV made its first stop in White Plains, NY at Nabel’s Nursery, a well-known nursery throughout Westchester County, owned and operated by the Nabel family for nearly 60 years.
Nabel’s Nursery came highly recommended, and Debug the Myths was honored to partner with them on our trip to the Empire State. Oprah herself has used Mr. Nabel’s plants for her segment on a Rooftop Deck Makeover. Westchester Magazine also recognized that Oprah highlighted Nabel’s for her Backyard Makeover segment and its use of exotic plants that do well in direct sunlight.
Our stop at Nabel’s gave us the chance to learn more about the staff’s perspective on the use of pesticide and fertilizer products as well as admire the beautiful plants the nursery has in stock for Westchester County homeowners.
Nabel’s Nursery provided pansies (a good cold-weather plant), fertilizer, and planting trowels for the beautification at Delfino Park in White Plains, sponsored by RISE on March 27. The planting activity, which included volunteers from Pace University, reinforced the enjoyment a well-landscaped area can bring to any outdoor space.
