This week was a whirlwind of activity as Debug the Myths stopped in Morrisville, North Carolina and Washington, DC.
Our stop at Prime Outlets in Morrisville on Tuesday was a perfect opportunity to share the Debug the Myths Road tour and all of our interactive and educational activities. Local RISE Members came out to experience the Debug the Myths activities first hand. Everyone got their picture with our green screen, found out which pest matches their personality with our online quiz and also enjoyed some authentic North Carolina BBQ from Smokey’s BBQ Shack for lunch.
After five more hours on the road, the Debug the Myths RV pulled into the nation’s capital to prepare for a day reaching out to legislative representatives, staff, and DC visitors and residents. Parked in front of Union Station, the debug team had a great view of the Capitol while educating governmental representatives and others in the area about the role proper pesticide and fertilizer product use plays in protecting families, communities and property. It’s important to learn about any pending ordinances or legislation that could restrict access to these products and change your ability to care for your home and community. Let your representatives knows you support the responsible use of these products by sending an e-mail now.
